Realizing harmfulness of electronic waste, Kuroba Trading and Travel Service Joint Stock Company volunteered to collect them at each family and deliver to the treatment point of Hai Phong City in accordance with the process. The group of electronic waste collectors at home has received enthusiastic responses and sharing from the community.

Following the volunteer team, we felt the enthusiasm and desire to protect the environment of each member. Ms. Doan Thi Ha the team leader working at Kuroba Trade and Service Joint Stock Company, shared to us - The the members are all administrative people. Therefore, the team usually collects trash from 6:30 - 7:30 '(before coming to the office) and from 17 - 18 hours in the afternoon. Especially, we spend almost time at weekend.
The members of the team felt very happy because after the establishment, posted information about electronic waste, talking about collection activities, the team received plenty of phone calls from collection points and was enthusiastically responded, shared, gradually spread to the community.
The original purpose of the team was to collect rubbish, to raise awareness of environmental protection. However, during the collection process, the team found that used batteries and other electronic waste were always thrown away or put in the household trash. Recognizing the harmful effects of these wastes and hearing the waste collection program of Vietnam recycles, the team has called on people to put the used batteries and electronic waste into one of the 5 collection bins in the city.

Electronic waste includes TV, printer, fax machine, computer, phone, iPad, camera, used batteries, wires, and other discrete components. They contain many harmful chemicals inside such as mercury, lead, argon, copper, aluminum, iron, zinc ... According to environmental experts, electronic waste with toxic materials can cause cancer, respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological diseases ... If they are not separated from domestic waste, it will be difficult for treatment.
After being collected, electric waste will be transferred to the nearest collection points. So far, the group's activity has received the support and response of the people. Many people not only share information but also volunteer to collect electronic waste.
Electronic wastes are very harmful but they are also valuable if they are treated and recycled in an appropriate manner. This is a way to save exhausting natural resources. If every family is aware necessity of electric waste classification, it should create a green, clean, beautiful community.
